The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
David Brazier

The first of many
Strong ones
Before us
Dies.
Life implodes on
Impact, escaping
as a vapor
from a
vessel
delicately
crafted by the
Master.

Visions of cement hopes
crumble to dust
under the
tremors
even man
cannot control to
stop this senseless
Death.

Wretched posion blinding
our children of Light
pushes out
over the edge
of our
Sanity.

The last of few,
tears at the
debris before Him,
Stop!
Anger screams out
Realizing the
treasure stolen
from the
temple...
Sacrilege! to
lose the
gift of
God.
