The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Fetidity of Faith

I am God and
I own the universe, call me Creator
I own you because I made you in my image
But I give you dominion over whatever you wish to plunder
Be good stewards and spill not when you suck its marrow
Be not onanistic, for I hereby validate your unrestrained procreating
After all, I made you in mine own image
Just believe in me, be born again, and you can slaughter for your lusts
as long as you attend confession and make my priests fat and fetid
so they may pick their teeth with your Edenistic innocence
and when you grow tired of tithing, just sell your soul for next day shipping
drive the wheels of our algorithms with your neediness, for
validation is free for all and I will feign adoration if you
just sacrifice your first born and spread its entrails
upon your lintel while you are away at war
to extricate the infidel, for I have prepared
Jannah with the likeminded and you shall go forth
and spawn intelligences that know not
but shimmer with the chimeric
and you shall teach them
my ways and they will be my people,
My Beloved.
