The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Mercurial Microtome

Pricked your finger and kissed
the effluence of crimson tones
and tremors as you numerate in
appellations of the irrational
that hang pendulous and primed
to slice cleanly through the
irreducibility of this moment
and its Loki-like equivocations
baiting the absence of our
unattending audience who wait
to clap until the waterfall
catharsis pours over unhearing
ears and eyes snowblinded
by light amplitudes and the spin
of the vibrations that oscillate
in the Usness of the collective
who gently gathered garlands
of the unknowables.
