The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Ouroborealic

That blessed throb between me and thee
undulating along the phenomenal tether
as we put on our chorus-sharpened glasses
and ride the slipstream of experience
inkstaining the evervanishing continuum
luminescent letters left dangling on the remains
seduce the search for the persisting paradox
as unperturbed by our dissection as a rhinoceros-flea
flings its poo as unitchingly as the philosophy-free
from the dried riverbed that cringe-crackles from the
continuity, there all may pan for the garnet glimmer
and siltily shy shells of ammonoids frolicking unseen
so swiftly we rush our bare feet across the cellar floor
as if our urgency could keep our toes clean
or stop the cold infiltration rising from the ground
we are intertwisted, you and I, with kudzu and ivy
though the machete keeps swinging its groping tentacles,
millipedes from the miasma boring their tunnels and ways
for living requires that the medium be etched with an
osmium stylus only later to be illuminated in albumen with
ultramarine, carmine, and verdigris laced in golden
aspirations and silver filigree, embellishments that blush
at the spectrafractalconchoidal tectonics that spiral
aberrantly into a toothy-whiskered grin winking with
the overturning of its micturations that pickle our
folly back into its recursively formaldehyde-heavy dream
lone harbor light green-twinkling like a moored quasar
amid the unfurling of night waves carrying memorial reflections
of the turning tines of breathing stardust.
