The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Gazed Abyss

Rough rages
the molten fusings of
the scorched churning of
the troubled tremors
true and twisted
dream and day
thunder then rumble
rough ruminations
rise flaring frothing
sulpherous hiss hiss
rubied gold nebula of
ardent intensities
pour into a pillar
of fumes and fire
ferocious to behold
and befriend or
betray and lie upon
to steal temper and
tempermental be and
belie the cool gaze
consumed in the end of
it all sputters and
sizzles sensation
seethes and suddenly
careens and cavorts
cascades then cares
sees and senses
the cool azure of
the steamy expanse of
the welded wastelands of
stark and solid
sense.
