The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Dialectic of Loss

In all of the vacancy of space
beyond the darkness of waste
A leaf once fell, fell
upon a hurricane.

The inky vacuum tore
wind from rain
shredded hurricane
fell to fading gale.

Lost to the entropy of eddies
A hurricane once fell, fell
like a leaf lost
tossed upon the same
indifferent wind.
