The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Civility of the Civetic

A swallow of words, salted with similes
fails the saiety of a palate unpiqued
but we like rabbit readers eschew
not to rechew the words,
alliterated with allusions,
to savor with a sniff the tang and scum,
the frugality of the fantastic,
imagining we quaff from a more exotic bum.
