The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
In This Light

In this light,
That danced into diversity
Only to be garnered by my
Primordial collectors,
I feel warmth
and welcome hearth-heat
as if I were to be seated
by gilded placard and placesetting
to watch the universal
performance and parade
until I must excuse myself
and put on an august aural aria
and proffer witty banter
between the interferometric marks
and opera eyeglasses of the unseeing
yet infinitely entangled.
