Tired is the reference point
of saints and sinners
who draw their countenance 
without a mirror and
sing with the choir of corpses.

Why do parents teach their
progeny a math to guarantee the
blessing of their last days
though they long broke free 
from their nurturing?

There is no avarice greater
than neighbor-coveting
the great less-than which
reveals little more than 
the fetidness of tautologies.
