The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Great Convergence of Attention, Intention, and InAttention

Open pandora's gilded creche
as I utter the talismanic words
spittled into my Odin ear
as I reduce demons into periphera
with the brilliancy of focus
and render shadows into their maternal abyss,
askew and akimbo, footfall aslip
as I arch my brow with steely spine
until speared joints luxate
and Hector has run his course
meanwhile the dark deluge pours over
the four cornered eclipse and
I unaware place my sunglasses upon
the roof of my yellow Tbird
and stare up in this desert at the blueness
of your kindness as sunspots coalesce
and I finally see what I was meant to see.
