The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Weight

Ma'at, weigh my soul
Douse a thousand ignorances
against one moment of distemper
judge the psychostasian hangman
and count feathers
he loves me
he loves me not
not that I care
about your dogmastic tether
but I sink
collapsing in upon my own
weight.
