The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Join the Dazedic Amazement

Do you see it too?
the amazement of happening
step behind the curtain's gaze
and let your eye be lifted
untethered from onerous sand bags
embrace the iconoclastic dynasty
of those who peel away the protective
sleeve of ontology and epistemic foolery
sing before you speak and dance before
you take the next step onto the dais
of tomorrow and today better spent
between the bejeweled escapements
walking the length of the gear's toothy
tine slowing time to a hovering mote

we bend the folding folds under the over
lay our egos upon the linen of a gathered
sand altar lying back into the mandala's
pixel's fall into Julia's almond embrace
and between breaths, journey across the
galactic wilderness wonderland every
star at your fingertips waiting for your
attention's caress so they may pleasure
you with their essence opening and you
may wink your seed into their lineage
with firefly circles of luminescence
never fully comprehended that your nature
is fulfilled to profoundest depth when
you kiss with your tender god lips the
solitary goodness of beauty being.
