Fragile Apogee

The passing particle confluence
sculpture of vectorless dust 
encrusted in copper-bearing sunstones
the garishness of memories will pass
to the paleness of marble ironies
plastered in forgotten homages and
the eddies of self-symmetrical reflections

Consciousness is but an epiphenomenon
caught in the slit of an obscura
sacred to the pygmies that worship
a heavy ennui to the comprehending
let us undress our presumptions and
bathe in the boil of quicksilver 
surrending the dross that blocks our ascensions
