The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Zero G

Stillness cracks from the earth
As shadows arise in your absence
Dew falls frosty from the
faintness of my nucleation
as my diaphragm hovers 'tween
malaise and ardor
in moist dissipation

So pivots the alignment
momentarily immovable
struck beneath the root
feet stilled as the
caesura falls between notes
a mote careens to my eye
frame-imprisoned and
unsure if I again shall weigh
