The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Reverse Momentum of Waves

Hidden between the interference of burrs
is the backsplash of fountains of field forces
a domino cascade of marionettes and minions
mincing the pristine into cosmic lace doilies
vaporous breath deposition stenciling today's
yesterday and long sung yesteryears echoing unheard
a million thankless reflections no less crisply
performing their mimic as chronic irony takes a bow
and serendipity deep-tongues propensity behind the ear
spineless tremors transmit the quake the quiver of
a lower lip with eyeballs straining to open wide
enough or at all to the pour of undulations
spirochaetic germplasm treading the eddies and
constant weather that stirs the latte into its coffee
hum inspiring a harmonic choir of kazoo-like inductions
layering the chords under the wild unweaving that
wavers between the whale and the leviathan.
