The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Numble Fox

Sapphire sparkles the butterfly eyed staff
I raise to part the acid clouds of settled compromise
Thrust into the crack of faultlines igniting
Any lightning though irreducible yet electrifying
the oak-leaning laws that sculpt our tar-sand eyeliner
and humble the burgeoning spires of thirstier crier
cathedral capillaries then enervate our moral veins
that throb against the unyieldiness of proximal causalities
ever recalibrating the scalpel of intelligence's unwieldiness.

Emerald-plundered beryllium domes our radiant heartiness
shadow-dancing multiplicities masquerading as conceptual forms
Cast upon the glass ceilings of our laser planetarium cloud
chamber equations that lie pulseless even when poked or
frankensteined into a conan flex of the governed excalibur
to humble our dragon-headed gorgon fears painted in dark
strokes beating out a more intimate melody crescendoing
as we yield our unwavering aspirations of distal entanglements
never calibrating the longing to the indulgences of the paradox.
