The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The UnSolar Oven

My salty heart melts
when the infinity
of even one
mirror lands upon my collectors
why deploy a clonal collective whose
purity diverges with the next rain's halo
just because one can reach higher temperatures
there is a different fire to be harnessed
within the odd shapes that pass
across this spacetimemoment
a convergence of archeologies
myriad legions of stories untold
the true bible of this babel world
a melange of milieus
we are the celestial artifacts
fossils fluorescing by-
what is this light that projects
this timeline into view
the other side of our precipitating
we see in dark matters
to explain the inexorable attraction
that is so plain to the child mind
and so wantonly rediscovered
by every fold that sags as our
latticework crumbles into stardust
and our yearning returns to
the great cosmic café au lait
