Fire

There's a fire inside - 
A living flame
A wellspring of
faith and hope.

From the wound inside me
flows a dim...
illumination.

And the glimpse
is enough to imagine,
a vivid innocence.

And from this dream
comes courage strong,
and from this strength
to fight the Wrong
whispers hope and peace
for another day - 
a deepening
recollection.
