The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Hydrodynamic-mindscape-vision

Melting into pristine waters
my jelly-bound-temples feel the rain of submersing
into an atmospheric farewell
my corpulence ripples against the broach of gyres
an exhale of exploding effervescence
our surrender of wet lungs to a heavier gravity
eyes wide to the astringent phantasmagoria
beneath a refracted lead glass blanket
of bohemian-cut shadows whose whiskey edges
sober the pyritic yearning with the diffusive release
of the long-held pith of growing too fast
as our wine-frail impermanence is lost to our
new oceanic delving between the colors and absolutes
to hear the ancestors speak the avataresque
and quench our last burning into the bluescape
of the azure, aquamarine, and iolitic
where golden hues fall like stars untethered
as we watch the botrytis bloom and
acclimate to the eternally edgeless bouquet.
