The Solemnity of the Caterpillarian

The animus that wills to weave
the dark fiber beneath,
a solitary weft blooms
into the cocoon that sublimates
vital juices into an ascendance
into the playfulness of
generative entanglements
alit on diaphanous wings
another cosmic osculation,
solemn pluck and vibration
giddy wavefronts evanesce
as the poet weaves a verse
aflame with resonation
the prophetic incantation
one determinative reflection
humbly playing out our innate agency.
