Mellifluous?

Is the mellifluous
rather the sound of
told timbre
the golden ping
of legendary virtues
our pantheonic worship
of projected archetypes
if not soothed, then
layed down in the
verdancy of pastures
to snore 'fore the
odyssey's unfurling
the tensity of dirges
or the laugh track
that auto-subtitles
across my stream.
