The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Hinoki[1] Dreams

Play amidst the steaming pools
as cypress forest snowy fools
with brisky pine bracing bind
and don an earthy mushroom mind
to green glow against the night
in noctilucent fairy fright
spry the mountain shale to scale
flee the dank cave and boggy dale
and leap from crags on thermocline
rising breath from Gaia's kind
be meteor fall and lightning clap
smack the yuzu from floating back
and lie black and fill your lobes
in night mind bliss and crack
the tablets free from fault lines
and between the meridians play
in aurorae golden shiny day dawns
between the mountain needle spray
hoarfrost creeping cross the fawns
and hare prints born after blizzard
make an auspicious future plee
volcanic warmth from a fallen tree.
