The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Firetender

Beauty
captures the idle
thoughts of words placed
side by side.

What enflames the quest
quenches the pain of ennui
quiets the bone hinges
of the errant eye.

Those lapis-like veins
flood in sky lightning,
frenetic synaptical
rush.

Crevices buried in myriad
mountains of color prismisms
falling from an imminent
meternity.

Shadows shrouded by rounded
palms from a raging whirlwind
splintered scintillation rains
on wincing flesh.

An emerging ecstation peels
sinewy sentience from a virgin
radicle radiant
blaze.

Ignite the comet's angelic
wrestling against night's ocean
expent to the universal edge
of everything.

Suffused with potent virility
Blood filled eyes the gates
Hears the choral silence of
golden light.

Tempest known in the eternal
tides of the now vista
spread over the galaxies'
crown.

Sapphire seraphim knight the
voyager's venturing
beyond and before the
blind plateau.

Guard the ardent ascent
Guide the burning bright
Grieve nothing.
Give all.

I lay history's mantle
aside asunder astray
Watching the nova mesmering,
emberring smolders

Erupts the Beloved
sudden showers around me
joy born blazing,
my Brilliant.

I tend the moment
Guard the nascent now
Give nothing ever to
hold the wonder.

Thousands are the fires burning
in the royal dance of stars
each gem your eyes
each quasar finger your touch.

Plasma peels from a flesh found
newly consumed from every
side and size and scene
embraced.

Awe open, you are my instacy,
my presence, my piece of
all that ever be
me.

Shout the jaden trumpet glare
Praise the right and
thankful ever be
me.

We fire heaven's furnace
Flood earth's jubilance
Found the frenzied peace
My whirlwind of We.
