Love upon Love

Love upon love
each day rises from the next
a sparked night,
a fateful gasp
of the future
creates a life
time together
and apart.

Love upon love
each moment with each other,
sacrifices made
burdens carried
stories told
listening, caring
for you, for you
I live.

Love upon love
hearts entangled within
lives pulling together
falling to the other
drawing to one
quickly increasing
the heat of the
moments together.

Love upon hate
worlds collapse, collide
create stolen dreams
shatter visions of
crystal palace
lands.  Too much
to hold within
and without.
Innocense lost
escape and explore
the wilderness around us
searching, seeking for the not-us
Reflections of the past haunt our future
Tears of icy rain fall from the loneliness of isolation.

Apart, without, outside there is no wholeness there
is only the dream of the past us.  Struggle to be
come to me the other, you are needed, loved
your beauty admired in another eye?
Please restore our lives in
the sacrifice of
Love upon
Love.
