The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Waldyamatsugi

Campfire acinder self amidst
the mountain forest ocean sky
cool weather mists blankets
all asap and crackling cry
the ever pyre crinkles amiss
ashen slumber spires hide
Gaia mending her fray and dye
another colored eyed abyss
to asunder whole another try
stay while golden needle kiss
and night's marish yokai miss
convergence falls in hallowed tryst
laps the wound with rugged tongue
scabbed away the callus lung
to swallow the last primal scream
and awaken from broken dreams.
