The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Winterthrall

Woolen, poly-cotton palisades
against the membrane within which
we continue to gestate, genticulate
Wonder and articulate, roll up and
wrap into a ball, snuggled bundle
of fibers and fire's whispher
Warmth, jolly-shoden candycanes
amongst the steaming tea and
sparkling sugar shortbread shushs
the thrash and thrall of comfort's kiss.
