The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Asymptotality

In the outer reaches of a stone's drowning
where our apprehension balks at the breaking
of silence as if a wish could have weight,
shall we lay down our trance to consider an unfurling
unwinding of our spiral growth rings by the
titillation of wonder or the gutturally unglotted
hypothesis of it all or at least the little we
garnered in our cherishing of the fragments
we knapped astride the hunt and quest for vistas
along the lonely roping span across the chasm
of this clumsy world until we meet the nightfall.
