The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
The Atemporality of Pulchritude

No need to posit angels
wandering about with the glow of youth
when death bids us to step outside
with fresnel eyes penetrating the
timeless lattice of every age
at once and forever
Amen

In the garden verdant yet riverfree
no brook or stream brings
apples to their sanguinity
no rootdraught or sunfall
belies the eternal unturning of
the cloched and enwalled
Amen

Here we drink in the angles of
proclivities and thread our fingers
through the dense tapestry of
potential energies that luster
with transcendental perfection
for ours is the glory now and forever
Amen
