The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Aphrodite Reborn

Undulating
Bioluminescence
Diaphanous winds warm
Wallow welcome
Waves of lucient swarm
Azurient canvas
Vaulting overhead
Never a pale so thin.

Sol star has been
Cast into
Silver linings,
An ebullient patricide
becomes an
unfettered gaze
tames the rabid
makes beautiful the
thrust of the
all-radiant Gaea.

The glass of time
hangs overhead
microtomic revolutions
Cronus' castration,
my sacred settling,
rains sanguine shards
to stir the Titanic sea
into a waterbroken deluge
cauldron of crimson Chaos
and left gently on the shore,
Aphrodite reborn.
