Mental Viscosity

A fascist punch to the locus coeruleus
congeals the myriad unnucleations of 
a mental nebula straining to focus
wincing from muscular overrelaxation
I bleed blue clouds of the non-Newtonian
from an almond that fails to encompass
the quixotic need to justify the need
for power to climb the heap of champions
instead boundaries flicker like old neon
into mirrors that forget to reflect
fruitlessly groping for features 
and finding only hollow words that crumble
