The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Edibal

Nourish me with succulent mango
and mollify my truculent mojo
dripping with the musk of honeydew
refulgent with nectar and nard
fragrant with frangipani and jasmine
Two orchids swole and heaving
while ants dance around aphids
and spiders trace my entanglement
Juiciness winces my labial maelstrom
as I lie back to inhale the redolence
in which we baste and boil like
fish eyes roiling to the surface
to see over horizon's edge
sparkling with the humidity of
wondering, struggling to expirate
the daily dross so I may attempt to
envelope the enormity of galaxies
and in my bursting, spread
my glistening luster
across the dimensions.
