The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
A Particular Flotilla

So floats a mote upon river zephyrs
spins against the roar of Terra turning
attracts the forlorn exile of wanderers
for the truly searching are often adrift
though rarely directionless they are
ever pulled and perturbed to tarry until
the multiplicity of magnetisms equilibrate
into a bridge to transgress into the
new bloom of molten theories and thoughts
fought into some shape to recognize the
passing of sprinkled serendipities that
fall like faceless neutrinos that thunder
in wavefronts that capsize the cling of
dinghies ferrying the dogmatically-inclined
to their thrones erupted upon conquered
anthills and swept into the jetsam slurry
where freedom is free for all that surrender
their sinking and plashing to dare
to let themselves float.
