Minded

Mind, the matrix transform
of an arabesque of many haired corpuscles
strange villi containing the acid of awareness
that digests the already refracted
fall of warmth on goosefleshy neurons
solitary sapphire completing the pattern of
a Persian carpet cosmology with the
peculiar ability to fuse for a time
into a shearless twinning of the truth
consummated in the flow-state of 
our gregariousness and excretions of
verbal icons and amulets and the
ontic alchemy of philosophers obsessed
with the already knapped and knackered
tropes of the atomic age unleashed
while inside the perimeter of 
our mitochondrial creativity 
we pencil-tip-balance the asymptotic
with planes of basalt column quarries
and hunt olivine amidst peridot ice
sculpting faceless voluptuous venuses
from our conceptual coprolites
to slather on evanescent accolades
if we say so ourselves 
like some war or whore paint to
quicken our appraisals of desire
