The Poetry of Mark Daniel Milbocker
Sudden Sublimation

Who can count the vertices
that fall upon this point
shrouded in faceted glare
lustrous flare of legacies
laid bare and converging to
diverge upon the quantal fulcrum
shifting altar thunderquaked
tablets left asunder
burdened will refracts
in staggered ejections quiver-
ached and flaming lapidations
bent appleward and unceasing
into a magnificent burl
the captured bolide of mortal
swirl of spiraling worlds?
